MSR is a mild chemical designed to dissolve silvering from the back of exposed mirror. The
product is fast acting (as shown in the video below), has low odor, removes silvering quick and easy for detail work through
stencils, will remove even the copper layer if there is one on high quality mirrors at the same time as the silver.
How to use
MSR:
In all cases where you are removing silvering from the back of brand new mirror
that you buy at the store you must 1st remove the paint backing using a quality paint stripper which has a Methylene Chloride
base in either a paste or semi paste.

Now go back up to the Top video if you just want to 100% remove the
silvering or look at the pics below for info on cleaning out a stencil.

NOTE: Nothing will happen to the silvering on cheap mirror as
that found at Walmart, KMart, Hobby Lobby, Michaels and other Hobby stores as that is not silvering but insted a form of chroming.
